Our founder’s experience shapes our belief that every person deserves to be heard and treated with dignity.
I know what it feels like to live on the streets, lose everything, and have doors close because of your circumstances. I reached a point where I had to rebuild my life, and I know how much it matters when someone gives you a chance.
I am in recovery from alcoholism. After leaving a rehabilitation center, I was given an opportunity to work in the Lifeline program. I saw a path forward for myself and for others who wanted to change their lives but struggled to find an open door. I began building a team from that opportunity.
For six years, we have continued to grow in this industry. What began as a chance to start over became A & A Technology Enterprises: a company with a purpose rooted in helping people access services and opportunities that can make a difference in their lives.
One of the first lessons I learned in recovery was to look beyond myself and be of service to others. Spiritual principles and service continue to guide my life and our work. Helping people is part of how I stay connected to my own recovery.
That commitment continues outside the business. I visit hospitals and institutions to share a message of recovery, take part in service within my recovery community, and support a nonprofit rehabilitation center that welcomes people who do not have health insurance to cover treatment.
Today, my son, Alexis Galicia, manages the company’s day-to-day operations. Together, we carry forward the purpose that started this journey: opening doors, treating people with dignity, and serving those who need support.
I was given an opportunity to rebuild. Through A&A, I want to help make opportunities possible for others.
